One of our founding principles is making our data publicly available so that each mission’s effect can be felt for years to come. The data from our missions is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License. You are permitted to copy and redistribute our data in any format or medium, for any purpose including commercial use. You may also adapt and make derivative materials based upon our data. If you adapt our data, you are only permitted to distribute derivative materials under the same license. You must credit Drone Adventures using “© Drone Adventures”. This Privacy Statement describes how Drone Adventures protects the privacy of individuals whose information is collected in the context of our drone missions or through their interaction with our website, https://www.droneadventures.org/ (the “Website”).
We capture still photography and videos while completing humanitarian, environmental and cultural missions. Most of our imagery is captured in public spaces, however sometimes we partner with organizations to capture photos and videos of their property. We do not use facial recognition software, and we will only display the names and affiliations of individuals captured in our images with their consent. The date and location of photos and videos are displayed on the Website. If you would like to request that your image be blurred or removed from our Website, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Security and Disclosures
We use commercially reasonable efforts to store and maintain your personal information in a secure environment on our systems. Drone Adventures will not share or disclose your personal information to any third party without your consent except in compliance with legal or regulatory requests, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Statement.

Drone Adventures encourages the republication of our posts and images. Any republication of our content must be made available free of charge, and you are not permitted to sell any of our content or to place it behind a paywall. Please read the following guidelines for republication of our content.
Re-publication of Posts
You may republish our posts in any media, provided that you cite Drone Adventures as the original source and provide a link to our site. You must also give credit to the author of the post in the byline of the republication.
If you do not have sufficient space to republish the full text of a post, you may republish the first few lines of the post, followed by a link guiding the reader to the Drone Adventures site to read the complete post.
